How Can Guests Dress Perfectly For An Indian Wedding?

With great pomp & show, colors, variety of cuisines and ceremonies, Indian weddings are gala affairs. It is not just a day when brides and the grooms look special, but all the guests attending the wedding try their best to look appealing. They choose dresses carefully to grab the attention of other guests.

While women can opt for lehenga, saree or salwar suit, men have choice of kurta, sherwani or indo-westerns. Now sherwani is not just a groom's wear in Delhi, even close friends or brothers of the groom can also wear it. Now when you know about the dresses, next hurdle is the selection of right color, design and the right technique to dress up for Indian wedding. The pointers given below will help you decide, how to dress perfectly for an Indian wedding.

Don't overdo:

Though marriage is an occasion where you get complete opportunity to adorn yourself, but never overdo it. Over-dressing will definitely help you get the eyeballs, but not with complements. Ladies should not wear too heavy and embellished dress. Same goes for men also. Wearing sherwani doesn't mean you opt for a sherwani clashing the groom's outfit. You can opt for silk, khadi or cotton kurtas.

Keep distance from black and white:

I know these are the most basic colors with least risk of going out of trend. But you never know, when the bride or the groom's family get offended, as these are not considered auspicious colors for some good occasion. You can try colors like brown, yellow, green, red, maroon, pink etc.

Don't be too casual

Though no one is going to question you if you wear a t-shirt and jeans for the wedding, imagine how you will feel when everyone around you is properly dressed in party wear. If you are confused how to choose right party wear for Indian weddings, you can take help of professional designer of men's wear in Delhi. They will not only suggest you right attire, but will also offer you customized wedding wear to look your best.

Jewelry

Ladies, be very careful with selection of jewelry. You can experiment with your jewelry as per the dress choice like saree, lehenga or suit. Statement neckpiece, heavy earrings and bangles are perfect to complete your wedding look for a friend's marriage.

Do Clothes Really Speak For Men?

Clothes today are not just to cover body. These decide the style quotient of the wearer. But most of the people think that only girls are worried about their clothes and look.

No, today men are also equally careful with their wardrobe.
Have you ever noticed the difference between the style of a bank manager, a singer, a business owner and a teacher? Observe carefully and you will find men in different categories carrying unique style. The bankers will opt for plain or checked shirts, while artists like singers & actors opt for funky looks like printed shirts, ripped jeans etc. A businessman always looks for something unique, which no one else has. He wants to show his status, power and authority through his style, accessories and dressing sense.
So this clarifies that clothes really speak for men.
There are varied designers and brands that cater to specific niche. Some might love their collection while some find the same plain and sober colors boring. Many men’s wear designers in Delhi create unique styles for flamboyance of the businessmen.

Not just the profession, but the style and look of men also depend on the region. For instance in Goa you will find people carrying printed shirts comfortably, while in Haryana, people wear sober outfits. In Mumbai you will find men donning funky colors.

Gone are the days when men were comfortable with ill fitting shirts drooping on the shoulders. Now they are highly fashion conscious. Whether it is a businessman, teacher or any other professional, they want to stand out of the crowd with trendy clothes. They now look for famous designers for customized designs and well tailored outfit.
This is not just limited to casual or formal wear, but also wedding wear. There are choices as per the look someone wants to flaunt on their wedding. Designer of grooms wear in Gurgaon will suggest different outfits to two different clients looking for traditional Rajwada look and the one looking for a traditional look with the contemporary touch.

History of Sherwani

Available in long coat resembling Achkan, sherwani is one of the most preferred wedding attires amongst Indian grooms. The difference between an achkan and sherwani is the fabric and lining. But have you ever thought how the sherwani came into existence and become such an important part of wedding wears? No problem, we will take you in the history to know the journey of sherwani. If given a choice of kurta or sherwani, most of the people will opt for the second option.

Originally originated as salwar kameez in South Asia, it was a court dress of Mughals, which later become equally famous among Indian royals. In eighteenth century it became regular attire in India, worn by general public.

Frequent use of sherwani by Mohammad Ali Jinnah made it Pakistan's national dress and now worn by common people. Though sherwani is a common wedding attire all across India, it is more popular in Rajasthan, Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh.
Started as royal attire for specific nobles, today sherwani has become a style symbol for modern grooms. Sherwani designer in Delhi experiment with these to give grooms a unique look. There are so many changes in the colors, patterns and fabrics of sherwanis.

Style Guide for a Perfect Ethnic Look on Wedding

With wedding season round-the-corner, the family members along with bride and the groom gear up for the wedding day. And the most confused person among them is the groom, who finds himself clueless with the selection of right wedding wear. With choice of western and ethnic wear, they get confused. Even if they decide the look, they find it difficult to finalize a particular outfit for the most special day of their life.

Looking at this confusion of many of my friends, I decided to write this blog with the collection of different men’s ethnic wear choices available to Indian grooms. I have also tried to focus on the experiments they can do to get that dashing look for the D-day.

If you compare modern groom’s wear designs with the past designs, you will find a whole new change in these. Modern men ethnic wear designers in cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Gurgaon offer sherwanis and other ethnic wear with a confluence of traditional and contemporary features. Grooms can feel like kings by wearing floor length sherwani with silhouette.
If you have more inclination towards western style, but want an ethnic wear, Indo-western is the outfit designed for grooms like you. You can look stylish and trendy on your wedding with a kurta styled with an indo-western jacket. You can combine it with either pants or Pathani style roomy pajamas. You can also experiment with printed kurta.
Sherwani with a contrasting stall or a color matching with bride’s outfit can also give you a special look. Usually Indian women like men carrying Indian style with a grace. Amit Behki – Gurgaon’s top designer for groom’s wear can help you steal the heart of every female guest by designing a customized ethnic outfit for you.

So if you are open enough to experiment with your wedding attire, try any of the above mentioned outfits with a different touch. You can try unique colors, different embroidery from the normal and bold prints. The designer is the best person to suggest the most suitable option for you.

Are Designer Groom's Sherwani In Vogue?

Heavy and embellished attire by the guests, bride and groom is not just a part of big fat Indian weddings. Modern grooms look for trendy and chic outfit options for their wedding, that not just make them look stylish, but also ads elegance to their overall look. This is an art gifted by god to only a few people.

These are the people who become fashion designers and help people look their best on every special occasion. In Indian wedding, which is full of so many celebrations and functions, the groom needs different outfits for every ceremony. Wedding wear designer for men in Delhi offer choice of different attires for all the ceremonies and the most important among these is the wedding dress. They give special attention of the sherwani or any other attire the grooms selects.

The grooms can now easily match the grandeur of bride's outfit with their designer and trendy sherwanis. With sequins, stones and other embroidery materials, these look equally embellishing like bride's lehenga. With this you can easily get a royal look for your special day and can get all the eyes on you.

With time and increased love towards western culture, grooms now look for sherwani that can give them an imperialistic look. They don't mind spending time on searching the best indo-western sherwani designs for men in Delhi or in other metro cities. Designers add twist to the simple designs with different embroidery and handwork. They provide a perfect fusion of style, tradition and classic look.

Modern fashion designers experiment with this traditional outfit to give it a customized look as per the groom and the wedding. With the themed and destination based weddings, the designers have to take care of each and every aspect while designing the sherwani for their clients. Imagine how will you look in a glittery sherwani in a simple function in daytime? You can't manage to wear the custom golden sherwani in a specific themed wedding. Designers choose colors, cuts, prints and even embroidery very carefully to ensure you get the wow look.

Since the market is full of groom's wear designers, you need to select a designer carefully. Choose a designer with capacity and talent to give you a distinctive look as per your personality. Gone are the days, when wedding used to be an all-bride occasion; now, grooms also try their best to compete with the bride and grab attention of guests and make bride fall in love with him once again.
